Book Review

About the Book:

A fighter ready to give up the gloves.

A woman ready to take on the world.

Grayson Green’s an MMA champion who’s spent years in the limelight where fast times and fast women were easy to come by. The appeal is gone and he steps out of the ring to make some changes and get control of his life. All the training in the world can’t save him from the one-two punch of meeting Emory. She’s different. She has no idea who he is…and she wants him anyway. When someone from his past is prepared to take him down… and Emory along with him, he’ll do anything to fight for her…

My Review   four stars new

This was a bit of a hard one for me to get into but I did however enjoy it. The writing kept me in it, even though a bit slow it held my attention. Gray was hot and protective and you’ll swoon, you’ll swoon so hard! Emory was still healing from her divorce so she’s still a little shy or hesitant with guys.

Gray and Emory are sweet, hot, and perfect for eachother. They have great chemistry and one of my favorite parts was that they were older. It’s not a NA story about college students finding love this story is about two older adults finding love or finding it again. That’s not something that you see so often in romance stories and that part drew me into this story.

I think that if you’re a romance fan you’ll enjoy this read. This author isn’t new but she is new to me and I think that I may look into her other books as well. This one even though slow in the begining won me over with great characters and a pretty great story all woven together.
