~~ book review ~~ Drunk On You by Harper Sloan

About The Book

Pageflex Persona [document: PRS0000039_00005]It was supposed to be fun.

A mutual use of each other’s bodies.

To be a ruse to the world around us.

I wanted to be free from my ex, and he wanted to escape his.

One drunken night turned a joke into a life-changing moment.

He warned me not to fall for him, and I should’ve listened.

He intoxicated me.

He made me crave him.

He ruined me.

In the end, I’ll never be the same.

My Review  four stars new

Steamy, hot, and irresistible! I totally enjoyed reading this book, and LOVED Shane and Nikki. This is my second Harper Sloan book, I have so many sitting on my Kindle waiting to be read, I’m like the worst reader ever. I need to read these books because the two I’ve read are amazing!

I went into this not knowing it was really part of a series (my blog isn’t called disheveled for nothing, yo!) but it was ok I don’t really think I had to read the others before this, they’re standalones. Shane and Nikki’s story was fun and easy and only a bit angsty. The story line may be one that many romance fans can probably figure out but I don’t see why thats a huge issue a lot of romance books are easy to figure out. I’ll be first to say that I love reading a book that I know is going to deliver a super steamy story, with an HEA. Sometimes you just need a break from all the drama, heavy issues, and angst and just read something easy, that burns up the pages, and this book does just that.
